Dimensions of the Blue John Chalice on the right
- 82mm diameter at the top
- Bowl is 46mm deep
- Overall height is 130mm
- The base is 80mm diameter
This is a proper chalice made from the Cliff Blue vein of Blue John Stone.

An outstanding feature of the bowl of this chalice is the thinness of the walls.
Creating a bowl with very thin walls requires expertise and craftsmanship.
Blue John stone is a rock which is difficult to work at the best of times
but Edward Fisher, with his many years experience of working Blue John stone,
has produced his thinnest walled blue john vessel.
